- Baptist Health
Baptist Health is a faith-based, Mission-driven health system comprised of Baptist Medical Center on the south bank of the St. Johns River in Jacksonville; Baptist Health - Beaches in Jacksonville Beach; Baptist Health - Nassau in Fernandina Beach; and Wolfson Children's Hospital, Jacksonville's only children's hospital. A hospital on Jacksonville's Southside is being planned, with completion anticipated in 2004.
Baptist Health offers a full range of medical and surgical specialties, including cardiovascular care, comprehensive cancer services and a full complement of women's and children's services. Other centers of excellence include adult and children's emergency centers, hyperbaric medicine and wound care, bloodless medicine and surgery, psychology and psychiatry services and pulmonary services. - Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine
A mall concept for health, the 75-acre Health Park has grown from its original 195,000 square feet of medical space in 1989 to more than 440,000 square feet today. The new 8-story Patient Tower, has become the centerpiece of the health park. In the complex, climate-controlled walkways connect visitors and patients to the new 5-story Doctor's Building, 3-story Flagler Tower, Alicia Tower, and Anderson-Gibbs and Jakadofsky medical office buildings.
- Mayo Clinic Jacksonville & St. Luke's Hospital
St. Luke's Hospital, a Mayo Clinic hospital, is a not-for-profit, nondenominational hospital located just east of Interstate 95 at the intersection of J. Turner Butler Boulevard and Belfort Road. It is located about 10 miles from Mayo Clinic and is the main admitting hospital for the clinic. The hospital has 289 all-private rooms.

Shands HealthCare, affiliated with the University of Florida Health Science Center, is one of the premiere health systems in the Southeast. Shands HealthCare is made up of nine, not-for-profit hospitals, a network of more than 80 primary and specialty practices and a medical staff of more than 1,500 affiliated University of Florida faculty and community physicians.

- Memorial Hospital
Memorial Hospital Jacksonville, named a 100 Top Hospital in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000, is a full-service, acute care facility with 353 beds, a staff of over 1,900 and more than 700 physicians.
